Looking at the onlookers and bystanders
In this anthology, scholars from different countries and different academic disciplines – such as history, social science, social psychology, pedagogy and philosophy – discuss the concept of the ”bystander” in historical and present-day contexts.
The anthology is the outcome of a interdisciplinary research conference in Uppsala in October 2008. This conference was a part of the project ”Spelar roll” (”Does it matter”) and was organised in cooperation between the Living History Forum and the departments of History and Education at Uppsala University.
